The Head of the Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences and the Director of the Hearing and Speech Clinic met with a Swiss delegation representing the Swiss organization “Hear The World Foundation,” which is concerned with helping hearing-impaired children in third and middle world countries. It included the organization’s general director, Joel Pianzola, the investment portfolio manager, Domitil Harp, and the regional director of the Sonova Group, Omar Ebgaeen.
During the meeting, the possibility of future cooperation was discussed in the field of financing and supporting the Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences and enabling children who suffer from hearing loss to obtain advanced hearing care.
The visiting delegation toured the Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences and the Hearing and Speech Clinic at the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Jordan, accompanied by a number of relevant specialists and consultants.
