Course on Scientific Referencing and Citation Management Programs

As part of a series of faculty development courses, the College of Rehabilitation Sciences, under the patronage of the Dean of the College, organized a course on scientific referencing and citation management programs. The course was presented by Dr. Rawan Al-Heresh from the Department of Occupational Therapy and Dr. Somya Abu Jabr from the Department of Physiotherapy.

The course covered the use of Mendeley and Zotero software, explaining the features of each.

The course was attended by the Dean of the College of Rehabilitation Sciences, as well as a number of faculty members and students interested in scientific research.

The course was distinguished by practical applications, including adding different sources, analyzing them, saving them, extracting them, and creating libraries and diverse groups, in addition to how to include references in Microsoft Word and control citation formats and styles.

The two doctors also answered the questions of faculty members and students and provided practical examples to clarify the answers.
