Mission
The mission of the department of Physiotherapy is to graduate professionals in the field of physical therapy who are to contribute to the health needs of society through education, scholarly activities, research, service and professional practice.
Vision
To be recognized as an outstanding educational program with high quality faculty members, staff and students.
Goals
The goal of the department of Physiotherapy is to prepare physical therapists with adequate knowledge, skills and attitudes required for entry into the profession. The graduate should:
• Demonstrate knowledge of the theoretical basis of physical therapy.
• Integrate knowledge of basic sciences and physical therapy in order to modify treatment approaches.
• Have adequate clinical training and practical skills.
• Have basic and applied research and ethical principles needed for his profession.
• Have the capacity to work as an efficient member of rehabilitation team.
• Have adequate communication skills with his colleagues and patients.
