( Studies in Speech Sound Disorders)
Course Description :
As stated in the approved study plan.
The course is a detailed study of speech sound disorders in children. Typical and atypical speech sound development will be emphasized as well as assessment and diagnostic procedures and treatment approaches of phonetic and phonemic speech disorders. Collecting a speech sample, phonetic transcription, speech sample analysis, and writing case reports will also be practiced.
