( Clinical practicum in advanced spinal orthoses)
Course Description :
The focus in this course will be on manufacturing spinal orthoses that are designed for
the management of scoliosis. It provides the students with the skills for making orthoses
such as Boston and Charleston braces. In addition, students will learn how to diagnose
scoliotic patients and the way for interpolating their relative radiological investigations.
Finally, students will learn how to incorporate a multidisciplinary approach and how to
create a treatment plan.
