( Occupational therapy in neurological dysfunction - cases)

• Course Description :

  This course reviews the occupational therapy assessments and interventions in treating patients with neurological (e.g., stroke, spinal cord injury and head trauma) and physical diagnoses (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis, burns, and fractures).  Theories and principles that address restoration of neurobehavioral function in daily activities, self-care, and functional mobility are emphasized. Lectures are supplemented with experiential laboratory experiences.
