     The School of Rehabilitation Sciences was founded in 1999 and brings together four professional programmes physiotherapy, occupational therapy, orthotics and prosthetics and hearing and speech sciences. The school offers bachelor's degrees in the latter four main specializations, and a Masters degree in speech and hearing sciences. The school has staff members all trained in internationally recognized institutions. The school is regionally renowned for excellence and receives international students from surrounding countries. The school engages in a number of collaborations to enable the Students to complete their clinical training in a variety of environments such as hospitals, gyms, schools and community centres. The school has academic relations with local, regional and international institutions to facilitate research and academic processes.
The building of the school of rehabilitation sciences was recently refurbished and is designed to facilitate accessibility for people with disabilities. It has one auditorium.   Seven lecture rooms, four seminar rooms, one computer labs, a library and practical workshops. There is a hearing and speech clinic attached to school. This clinic serves the community and provide ideal clinical placement for students.
